Solar PV & Battery Storage Installation

Ipswich YM Rugby Club uses a considerable amount of electricity powering the clubhouse, lighting the pitches and heating it’s water. The Club wanted a solar solution to:

• reduce its energy bills
• reduce it’s carbon footprint
• demonstrate commitment to the environment
• create a more sustainable future

We carefully designed a bespoke system to match the Club’s requirements.  The battery storage helps limit the clubs reliance on the grid as even if it haven’t produced enough energy via the panels during the day, the system can be set up to top up the batteries at cheaper periods such as in the middle of the night and used the next day.

When the clubs demand for energy is lower, but their energy yield is higher, the excess energy created can be sold back to the grid creating a tariff payment, helping to offset the Club’s bills.
